Timely deliveries, quality, are keys to success, says AEL

V K Chakravarti
Ahmedabad, Oct 5: Unjha-based Arise Exports Ltd (AEL), which recently won the Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporters Association (Iopea) awards for exporting sesame seeds, attributes `quality' and `timely delivery' as the twin keys to its success. The compnay has posted a Compounded Annul Growth Rate (CAGR) of 200 per cent over the last four years.

AEL not only won the Iopea award for excellence in export of hulled sesame seeds in 1998-99 for the second successive year, but the Iopea export award for natural sesame seeds as well. It was lapped up by yet another Globoil Gold Award for outstanding performance in the category of exports of oilseeds on September 19.

According to AEL director Ashvin Nayak, the company's first consignment sent abroad was fenugreek worth just Rs five lakhs to Saudi Arabia in 1994, followed by another order of sesame seed worth Rs seven lakhs also to Saudi.
