New Delhi, Oct 5: In a bid to shore up its presence in international markets, Delhi-based Padmini Multimedia is scouting for partners abroad. To begin with, the company will appoint marketing associates in the UK, US, France and Canada.Talks are also on with several international video companies to bring their titles to the country, said senior company officials.
Deputy general manager (marketing) Puneet Agarwal said that Padmini plans to offer its CD and DVD replicating and authoring facilities to international companies for developing content in foreign languages.
The company is in talks with several PC manufacturers and makers of consumer electronics to bundle titles along with their products. Padmini already has an arrangement with Samsung and BPL in this respect. The company recently entered into a wide-ranging tie-up with Mumbai-based Venus Tapes and Records involving replication of CD and DVD titles by the group.
