"Today (the parliament) has agreed to discuss the matter further in the meeting with parliamentary commissions," parliamentary speaker Akbar Tandjung told a news conference.

The parliamentary commissions will be formed on Tuesday and start working immediately.

Another parlimentary member, Dimyati Hartono, told reporters that these commissions would decide how, if and when the report is published.

One legislator said there was a possibility that only part of the full report would be released to the public.

The bank scandal revolves around a payment of $70 million by Bank Bali to a firm run by Setya Novanto, a leading official in the former ruling Golkar party, for the recovery of loans from the state bank agency.

Former president BJ Habibie's political opponents say the money was siphoned off for Habibie's re-election war chest, a charge he denies. The fee has since been repaid to Bank Bali.

The supreme court told the state audit agency to give the full audit report on the scandal to parliament.
