Delay in AP power projects flayed
Hyderabad, January 3: The Andhra Pradesh government was criticised by the state Congress unit for the delay in implementation of power projects in the state and called for a review and rescheduling of the projects. Former minister and official party spokesman K Rosaiah told reporters that the Chandrababu Naidu government had allotted power projects worth Rs 64,000 crore to private companies. But the government had not reviewed the progress of various power projects, and instead, the promoters have been given extension, he said. Expressing serious doubts over the implementation of the power projects, Rosaiah said, the `diktats' of World Bank would lead the state into darkness.
