New Delhi, Jan 19: Delhi-based IT&T has set up an e-software services division which will set up business-to-business and business-to-consumers portals and e-applications.The company has set an ambitious target of setting up 25 portals this year itself. At present, it is developing two B2B portals, smartsourceit.com and netmanageit.com and will soon take up B2C portals in the fields of education, healthcare and entertainment.
``We are in the process of creating a team for our `portal factory' to set up 25 portals in 2000 aimed at different vertical business areas. We intend to then sell off the territorial rights of these portals, or give these for subscription to others who can do e-business on these,'' said IT&T managing director Karan Puri. On smartsourceit.com and netmanageit.com, the corporates will be able to log on and decide on the mix of equipment/products, solutions and services they want to avail and then order for them online, said Puri.
The company also aims to provide IT infrastructure consultancy and maintain individual clients' queries and provide solutions online, thereby hoping to eliminate procedural delays on execution and implementation of customer needs.
