National Panasonic-Comsat pact 

 
JANUARY 19: National Panasonic India has entered into an alliance with Comsat Max to provide hybrid VSATs (very small aperture terminal services). Comsat Max has installed the VSATs to network the main plant of National Panasonic located in Noida with its regional offices across the country.

The VSATs would provide Lotus notes as well as Oracle connectivity across all its 14 locations. It would help the company's regional offices to access the plant for data application.
