EPI awarded Bhoj wetland project
JANUARY 22: Engineering Projects (India) Ltd (EPI) has secured two contracts from the Madhya Pradesh government's Bhoj wetland project, valued at Rs 15.65 crore. The projects are aimed at environmental improvement of the state capital, Bhopal, and its famed lakes. EPI, which is already working in various environment related projects, will construct a sewage treatment plant with waste stabilisation ponds, anaerobic and faculative ponds, outlet and bypass channels and pipeline work for the first contract. The second entrusts EPI with the designing, construction and commissioning of dry-cum-wet intake wells in different localities in Bhopal, including complete sewage pumping systems.
