MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 27: The Mumbai-based Sampark Communications has forged a strategic partnership with global investor relations firm The Anne McBride Company. The new unit, Sampark McBride will, for starters, function as a separate unit under the overall Sampark umbrella.Anne McBride Company chairman and CEO Anne McBride said that the firm's strategy broadly encompassed the creation of an "investable message", identification of target audiences, enhancing valuations via company analysis, among others.
"As global advisors dedicated solely to financial relations, our mission is to attain the full and fair valuation of our client companies in the financial marketplace. We achieve this objective through strategic planning and a consistent communications plan that meets the needs and demands of the markets," she added.
The $5 million Anne McBride Company operates via seven local offices (including operations in New York, London, Paris and Madrid) and has 80 clients globally, including Polish Telecom andUS-based biotech company, InKine. The firm is also looking at cementing ties with international strategic advisors Violy Byorum & Partner, McBride added. Currently, Citigate Dewe Rogersen is the only investor relations firm with a significant presence in India.

Sharma added that the unit would look at low P/E companies in the software sector and smaller companies in the B2 segment which can be upgraded via effective investor relations.
Sampark Communications currently figures among the top five public relations firms in India and has been responsible for the financial communication strategy in a host of recent mergers and acquisition deals including the sale of 49 per cent of Max India stake in Hutchison Max Telecom to Hutchison Whampoa, the acquisition of a controlling stake in Narmada Cements by Larsen & Toubro, besides theRs 1,180 crore MSRDC debt offering.
