HYDERABAD, MARCH 3: New Jersey-based $50 million software company AETEA Information Technology Inc has entered into an agreement with Response Informatics Ltd to establish state-of-the-art software development center in Hyderabad.The proposed centre will cater to a variety of development projects including web and e-commerce, sugar technologist and promoter of Response Informatics PM Nair told The Financial Express. After a 30-years career in sugar industry, Nair had joined two others - IVSSN Raju from construction industry, R Ganesh from sugar industry - to promote the company in 1996.
Till recently, the company was engaged in development of custom-made software solutions for heavy and medium sugar industries. Looking at the growth potential, the company has decided to expand its activities in other related areas to provide software solutions. It has proposed to enter in the area of Internet business and has already applied for a `B' category ISP licence, said Nair. Nair said that the company would act as a representative of AETEA IT Inc and carry out the works sourced by the company at the proposed development center in Hyderabad. Besides, it has been chosen as authorised development centre by two more US software companies -RomBHUS Inc and APT Consulting Team Inc for sourcing off-shore development projects, Nair said.
