"It's the first time that such A feature is being added to a travel site,'' says Uday Mehta, president of ICS InfoCom. The Delhi-based company is all set to emerge as a virtual travel agent, tourist guide and even a total package tour operator for domestic tourists. The company is setting up a facility in Pune to set up backend engineering support.

The time share exchange is an idea that Mehta hopes will bring more visitors to his site. Timeshare holders can list their time share for buying and selling at no cost. This will offer timeshare holders access to the domestic as well as international buyers for the timeshare at no expense. "Currently, 80 per cent of the surfers are lookers and only 20 per cent bookers. We are now trying to convert lookers to bookers," says Mehta. His philosophy is that the farther away from the source of information the user is the more important the site will be for the surfer.

As of now there is plenty to look for. Mapping and information on 155 tourist locations, 1100 hotels, 150 trains, dozens of airlines and facility to book online from a list of 200 hotels. The site was recently selected by Britannica.com as one of the best in its category.
