In what can be termed as the millennium catch for cyber Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his men, Infosys has decided to set up shop in Cyberabad.

BT to take mobile Net to masses
British Telecommunications Plc roared back into favour with the stock market on Thursday as it announced plans to take the mobile Internet to the masses. The company said it would offer wireless Web phones for 99.99 pounds ($158) up front plus 10 pounds a month and expected to sell 500,000 of the wireless application protocol handsets between April and June.

VSNL, MTNL in talks for Rs 500 crore DLD venture
The state-run Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) is in talks with Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Ltd (MTNL) to form a joint venture for offering domestic long distance (DLD) telephone services in the country. The joint venture entity will pump in Rs 500 crore for the purpose.p
