Steel yourself -- Aditya Ispat sets up ISP, Web portal

Hyderabad, Mar 13: Yet another company has decided to chase the Internet El-Dorado. Aditya Ispat Ltd, a steel products manufacturer is setting up an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a Web portal for students. The company also plans to set up a 100% subsidiary in the US for e-commerce activities.

Chairman SB Chachan told The Financial Express, "the company will be investing Rs 20 crore for this purpose, with the funds being raised through internal accruals and an issue of fresh shares". The company is working on the issue size and will finalise the details next month, Chachan said. He added that the new portal called studentsinfoline.com will be operational during next month. The new portal will provide students a variety of information on colleges, examinations, course details etc. The company intends to change its name to Aditya Corporation Ltd.

The company will provide services in advertising, marketing of goods, information through e-commerce, transmitting and transferring data, information andother related activities, he said. Aditya Ispat proposes to provide clients complete web page solutions, develop content and train manpower e-commerce solutions.
