Ambanis bid to set up school at Bandra-Kurla

Mumbai, March 13: The Ambanis have evinced interest to set up a school building at Bandra Kurla in mid-town Mumbai. The JH Ambani Trust has emerged as the highest bidder for the project after the Mumbai Metropolitan Development Agency (MMRDA) invited bids from corporates to build a school in an effort to enhance educational infrastructure in the city.According to India Property Highlights, only three bids were received and the Ambani Trust emerged as the highest bidder with a rate as low as Rs 3,400 per square meter or Rs 315 per sq.ft. The India Property Highlights is a quarterly property report from international property consultants Colliers Jardine. According to sources, the JH Ambani Trust- a family trust dedicated to community development initiatives-has bid for the project.
