Bharti Telecom shares delisted from DSE
Bharti Telecom said on Wednesday that its shares had been delisted from Delhi Stock Exchange following the acquisition of over 90 per cent stake by the company's promoters. Shares of Bharti Telecom have already been de-listed from Mumbai, Calcutta and Ludhiana stock exchanges, according to a company statement.

PC annual sales set to touch 2-million mark
Riding the wings of an IT and internet boom in the country, the industry doubled its growth by selling approximately 1.5 million personal computers during financial year 1999-2000, a 50 per cent jump from the 1 million figure achieved only last year when it had registered a 25 per cent growth over 1997-98, having sold just 8 lakh PCs. PC sales will continue to see a similar growth and may touch the magical 2 million annual sale mark by the end of 2000-2001, according to estimates made by the MAIT.

Color Chips ties up with Chandamama
Color Chips India Ltd, a 2D & 3D animation company with the largest training and production facility in India, has tied up with the children's comic magazine Chandamama. Under this MoU, Color Chips is providing the characters and contents for Chandamama. Color Chips has created the fun loving moneky character- KAPI, exclusively for Chandamama. Color Chips will be constantly creating characters, puzzles, stories and other contents for English, Hindi and Telugu versions of Chandamama.

Ugadi offer: First Telugu Internet portal
First ever comprehensive Telugu Internet portal for the benefit of Telugus across the globe was launched on the auspicious occasion of Telugu New Year "Ugadi" Vijayawada on Wednesday. Talking to newsmen, A Seshadri of the Compact Ventures said, the Website "lambujambu.Com" provided a wide variety of data like almanac, Indian culture, Telugu literature, history, carnatic and Hindustani music, vedas, upanishads, Andhra cuisine, drama, cinema etc.

Globsyn to offer ESOPs
Calcutta-based Globsyn Technologies announced on Wednesday, it would offer stock options to its employees in the country and overseas.Under the employee stock option plan (ESOP) scheme the shares will be offered at a price of Rs 25 each Prasar Bharti posts all-time high ad revenue The Prasar Bharati expects to record Rs 775 crore commercial and advertisement revenue in 2000-01. In this, All India Radio's contribution is pegged at Rs 125 crore, according to Prasar Bharati CEO Rajeeva Ratna Shah.
