M&M set to replace Armada with Euro II compliant Bolero

New Delhi, April 5: Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Will replace its entire `Armada' range of multi-utility vehicle (MUV) by Euro-II compliant advanced `Bolero' vehicles by the month-end, company sources said. The company would make changes in the existing Armada vehicles by fitting new engines and making other upgradations in interiors and body designing.M&M would rename the vehicle as Bolero with a view to highlight the additional features and create a new brand in the market, sources said. The company has stopped supplying Armada vehicles in the National Capital Region (NCR) due to non-compliance of the mandatory Euro-II emission norms in the region from April 1 as these MUVs are only conforming to Euro-I norms at present. The Delhi government has stopped registration of all non-Euro and Euro-I passenger vehicles in the NCR from April 1 following the Supreme Court order in order to reduce the pollution which has reached to an alarming level.
