Aarti Industries to pay 20%
Aarti group flagship Aarti Industries, at its board meeting held on March 28, declared second interim dividend of 20 per cent for the financial year 1999-2000. The total interim dividend (including first millennium special interim dividend) now will be 35 per cent against 27 per cent final dividend for the pervious year. The company has also entered into an agreement with the Central Depositary Services (CDS) for admission of securities into CDS.

IMC memorandum to PM
The Indian Merchants' Chambers (IMC), in a recent memorandum to the Prime Minister, recommended important amendments in the Union Budget proposals. The memorandum has welcomed many salutary features in the Budget proposals, but numerous undesirable provisions were pointed out. The Memorandum was submitted by the IMC president Pradeep Chinai in New Delhi.

Gabriel declares interim dividend
The board of Gabriel India has declared an Interim dividend of 20 per cent as compared to 10 per cent dividend for the previous year. The interim pay out was declared on April 4, 2000.

Moser Baer profit up
Moser Baer India, leading manufacturers of data media devices on Wednesday announced a rise in profit by 121 per cent for the financial year1999-2000,with profits having more than doubled from Rs 20.40 crore in 1998-99 to Rs 45.20 crore in1999-2000, an official release said.
