New Delhi, April 28: Amid fireworks, fun contests, a laser show, and a magicshow, the international measurement and monitoring giant-Tektronix Inc.announced the launch of the newest series in its logic analyzer family - theTLA600 series. According to Srinath Kulkarni, business manager design andservice test business unit, Tektronix India, "TLA 600 provides breakthroughperformance and 2 GHz timing. It is also the first logic anlayzer in thisrange to bring MagniVu acquisition technology to an Open Windows platform, allowing easy integration into the design environment."Common embedded system designs have become more challenging, and currentmainstream logic analyzers do not provide adequate timing resolution fortypical hardware and software debug needs, said Kulkarni. "For these typesof applications, the TLA600 Series resolves timing dilemma, and is equippedwith necessary high-performance features at an extremely affordable price,"he added.
The TLA600 is designed for engineers with high-performance measurementneeds. The TLA600 Series is ideally suited for design engineers requiringquick identification of elusive hardware and software problems that threatenproduct development cycles. This instrument addresses the growing needs ofembedded system design team conducting general purpose state and timing, andsingle processor debug and verification tests.
The TLA600 Series is ideal for hardware and software applications in whichtiming measurements are critical. It combines microprocessor trace with500-ps timing resolution, simultaneously on all channels through the sameprobes. The TLA600's sub-nanosecond performance accurately reveals systemtiming, enabling design engineers to identify elusive problems and verifytiming margin. It also helps engineers meet time pressures that threatenboth product development and time-to-market cycles, explained Kulkarni.
The TLA600 Series is fully compatible with current TMS processor/bussupports requiring up to 136 channels. Tektronix Inc., is a test, measurement, and monitoring company, which enables its customers to design, build, deploy and manage "next generation" global communications networksand Internet technologies. Headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, Tektronix hasoperations in 25 countries outside of US. Tektronix India Limited is theIndian subsidiary of Tektronix Inc., with manufacturing and distributionoperations.
