FM Media portal to showcase India at its best

Thiruvananthapuram, May 2: A mega portal site, www.indiaatbest.com has been launched by Kerala-based FM Media Technologies Pvt Ltd. It provides news, information and consultancy on matters relating to India and has 25 cluster sites.

The portal deals with a variety of topics such as travel and tourism, online reading room, NRI Help Desk, Banks Bay, education, health care, channel watch, movie watch, idea bank, and 25 other Websites to focus on regional importance, coverage and provide services, a FM Media Technologies spokesman said here on Monday.

The travel and tourism section provides details about places of tourism interest and has online air ticket booking and hotel reservation facility. NRI Help desk provides information on investment schemes and education opportunities for NRIs. Banks bay provides free consultancy on credit facilities, investment opportunities, housing finance stocks etc. The cluster sites deal with region specific information such as delhiatbest.com, mumbaiatbest.com, gujaratatbest.com etc. The future plans of FM Media Technologies include e-commerce facility by October 2000, and marketing of local portals. The company also intends to form a `consortium' of more than a hundred Websites. By next year, the portal would also be providing cinema,and music through the Net.
