According to ministry sources, the expert committee on transfer pricing mechanism was expected to give its report within two months. Officials said that the committee was gathering views and they would accommodate the experiences of other countries in this regard in their report.

They added that after submission of its report by the expert committee, a process would be initiated to study various options available globally and then a draft legislation will be prepared for public comments.
