Feedback Reach ties up with FT Knowledge

Mukta Magazine
New Delhi, May 3: Delhi-based Feedback Reach, a leading HR solutions company, has tied up with FT Knowledge, a division of the UK-based $5.6 billion Pearson media group, to bring its management training and development programmes to India. FT Knowledge is a global leader in flexible learning programmes in business education and management development, with annual revenues of $50 million, 13 offices worldwide and 25,000 students.

With the total corporate market in India, including junior, middle and top level managers, estimated at one million, and a growing recognition of the need for training to meet the multi-dimensional needs of organisations in the new competitive global economy, Feedback Reach hopes to capture a sizeable market. It will help identify customers, analyse their needs, customise FT Knowledge's products, set up a mentoring process and facilitate the programmes. The tie-up is currently on a revenue sharing basis. Asia Pacific forms 26 per cent of the $170 billion global corporate training market. Says Neil Bird, head of new business, FT Knowledge,``Though we have not set ourselves a definite target in India, even 1 per cent share of the Asia Pacific market would be very encouraging.''

In India FT Knowledge will initially be targeting only organisations, though globally it also provides packages for individuals.According to Rumjhum Chatterjee, managing director, Feedback Reach, the company has already received queries from its current clients and the first training package is likely to be delivered by July. Its current clients include Mahindra & Mahindra, RITES, Apollo Tyres, Samtel and Oracle.

Says Chatterjee,``While the packages will differ according to the needs of the organisations, as we see it, in the India scenario, behavioural training is the common need across industry segments instead of functional training. The packages will be tailormade for different levels in the organisation.''

A Feedback Reach panel of advisors will be in constant touch with FT Knowledge to work out special customised training packages for its clients.FT Knowledge is one of the largest multi-media learning resource providers. It develops courses in collaboration with top business schools and its clients include American Express, Charles Schwab, Compaq, Glaxo Welcome and Standard Chartered Bank.
