Mumbai, May 10: Canara Bank has become the first public sector bank to join the Mastercard ATM network. Canara Bank will offer cash withdrawal facility to all Mastercard, Maestro and Cirrus card holders from participating banks in India and worldwide.

Canara Bank executive director, Ranjana Kumar said: ``Canara Bank is the first nationalised bank to participate in any international ATM network. CANCARD will extend cash withdrawal facility to international and domestic Mastercard.''

To start with, the card can be accessed from 12 ATMs in six cities which will be gradually increased to 370 ATMS across 46 cities.
