Bajaj Tempo workers threaten to go on strike from May 26

Pune, May 10: Production at Bajaj Tempo Ltd is likely to come to a halt with workers threatening to go on strike from May 26 onwards. Work at the factory has already been affected following a tool down strike at the plant by the union which is affiliated to the Bharatiya Kamgaar Sena.An altercation between a divisional manager and stenographer led to a group of workers belonging to the labour union committee assaulting the manager. The incident occurred on May 3 following which five workers were suspended by the company. In protest, the workers went on a toll down strike leading to stoppage of work.
