Normal trade on NSE's ALBM segment The ALBM segment of the NSE on Wednesday witnessed rates of around 18 to 19 per cent in select counters like HFCL and Global Tele. However, the rates were lower in the counters like RIL, Telco and HLL. In these counters the rates hovered between 9%and 11%. According to dealers, on Wednesday, the trades in this segment were normal. NSE brokers said that the total volume in the ALBM session was at around Rs 400 crore.Canbank Mutual Fund Canexpo, the sectoral fund from Canbank Mutual Fund, was the star performer for 1999-2000 with returns of 106.76 per cent, while its taxplanning scheme Canpep93 recorded returns of 104.85 per cent in the year. CMF, releasing its annual results, said that amongst the growth schemes, four outperformed the Index. It declared income distributions in 9 of its 15 schemes ranging from 10 to 40 per cent and 1:1 bonus on its Canglobal scheme. Total assets under management by the fund are Rs 2000 crore.
