The 42nd National Exhibition of Art, it would appear, has served itself well by being modest. Some 80 artists here have priced their works below Rs 3,000; some 1,000 between Rs 10,000 and Rs 30,000; 40 between Rs 31,000 and Rs 1 lakh and only three works are priced at Rs 1 lakh and above.
