Sibabrata Das
Mumbai, May 29: ORG-Marg is planning to float a separate company to offer its Internet research products. Though cyberorg-marg.com will currently operate as a division of ORG-MARG, it will be spun off into a separate company. ORG-MARG will, through cyber org-marg.com, on Wednesday launch a package of five Internet-related products. While there will be two products in planning and developmental applications, the company will offer three measurement products of Internet traffic.Web monitor is a sizing and profiling survey which will be conducted every four months. It will estimate the number of Net users in the country and profile them on various demographic parameters like age, gender and occupation as well as `webographic' parameters (like usual place of access, type of account, ISP and purpose of use). Web designer is meant to assist site owners on content format and will serve as a pre-testing mechanism for them. The three measurement products will be browser-based traffic count systems providing census data on sites and advertising. They are Cyber enumerator, Cyber evaluator and Cyber encounter. Cyber enumerator is a census-based measurement service and will report on subjects like page impressions, total and average duration for the page and frequency of visit. The site owner will have to use a particular software. ORG-MARG will charge according to the number of page impressions. Cyber evaluator is a panel-based service and will report on the frequency of visit to a site, time spent, click path and entry and exit of pages.
