Esc sets up expert committee
The Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) has constituted an expert committee to suggest ways and means to promote exports of IT-enabled services. The committee would also take up issues of bandwidth availability, road shows to sell these services, ISO quality certification and to propagate India as the preferred choice for IT services, according to an ESC statement.
Hewlett-Packard to ramp up production capacity Hewlett-Packard, has said that it would double its manufacturing capacity in India. "We have a manufacturing capacity of10,000 PCs a month at our local facility and we are doubling it to 20,000'', according to H-P India , computer products, vice-president Ravi Aggarwal.
RCSI to set up office in New Delhi
The Bangalore-based software tool provider Rational Software Corporation India (RCSI) has announced the opening up of a branch in New Delhi. The 100per cent arm of the US-based Rational Software Corporation will also set up offices in Chennai, Secund-erabad and Mumbai this calendar year, company county manager M K Bharatee told mediapersons.
i-flex in pact with Shinsei Bank
