Ticklewit offers online event management
Ticklewit.com Private Ltd, the country's first live event manager, has launched its site in Calcutta dedicated to online event management, and high technology network gaming. The site is the brain-child of a three-member team- Rajesh Yohannan and Arun Ragothaman of IIM, Calcutta and Vamsi Madhav, IIM, lucknow.

PaisaPower in research tie-up with ORG-MARG
PaisaPower.com, the personal finance Website and ORG-MARG, have announced a strategic alliance to develop a deep understanding of online and off-line consumer behaviour and its implications on e-business. Austin PM, CEO, PaisaPower said, "The central idea is better management of our customer assets and hence value creation. We hope to determine this by better understanding of our customers' requirements.

Rajan Saxena joins STG board
Rajan Saxena, director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has joined the board of Software Technology Group International Ltd (STG). The company has also appointed Mohi Mohon Mukerji, formerly with the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani on its board. This takes the total strength of the STG board to five.Both Saxena and Mukerji are appointed as part-time directors. Other existing directors include Yogesh Vaidya, chairman, Narendra Saxena, managing director and Sanjeev Prasad, a whole-time director.

3Com finalises analog modem strategic pact
3Com Corporation has announced the finalisation of the analog modem strategic alliance previously announced in March, 2000, between 3Com, Accton Technology Corporation and NatSteel Electronics. The new company created through this alliance will be called US Robotics and will assume 3Com's analog-only modem product lines and business, including US Robotics and US Robotics Courier branded modems. US Robotics will be headquartered in the Chicago area and will commence full operations by September 2, 2000.
