CNN plans vernacular channel in India through joint venture
CNN International is keen to set up a local language channel in the country with a joint venture partner. "We have launched vernacular language versions of CNN in countries like Germany, Spain and Turkey. We find the Indian market attractive enough." CNN president Chris Cramer said.
