Four IT firms sign MoU to help engineering students

Hyderabad: Taking the concept of mentoring a step ahead, the IT fraternity here has decided to adopt local engineering colleges to further industry-academia relations. To begin with four companies, specialising in frontier technologies , PortalPlayers Pvt Ltd, Vantel Technologies Ltd Qualcore Logics Ltd., and Orillion India Software Pvt Ltd., have signed an MoU with Hyderabad based Vasavi Engineering College for a pilot adoption programme.Coming together under the aegis of the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA), the four companies will help the students in placements, training, scholarships and student projects, J A Chowdary, MD PortalPlayers and president HYSEA told press persons here.
