Compaq India has awarded the best business practices award for the year 1999-2000 to Delhi-based PC Solutions Pvt Ltd, which specialises in system integration and IT infrastructure management. Verifone unveils e-payment platform
VeriFone, a division of Hewlett-Packard Company, has introduced its global e-payment platform, which provides a new level of performance and security to support and run multiple applications at the point of sale. The payment terminals, operating environment, security architecture, e-payment software and appliance-management platform for VeriFone's new family of e-payment solutions incorporate flexible features in responding to the e-payment needs of the market.
Warburg pumps in $5 million in CashTech
CashTech Solutions India, a provider of corporate electronic banking and cash management solutions to banks, has received a $5 million investment from Warburg, Pincus to support the expansion of its global marketing initiatives. Warburg will have a seat on the board of directors.
Tektronix Cell Analyser enters market
Tektronix has announced the availability of a new GSM cell analysis product, the Tektronix Cell Analyser which combines the key functions of the Actix Abis Analiser with the Tektronix K1205 signaling protocol analyser. Available as an add-on software package for the K1205, the Tektronix Cell Analyser enables field technicians to check and validate the radio performance of a base station, quickly identify and solve radio frequency problems etc. The Cell Analyser can be used on any GSM network.
