Bangalore: Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd, an integrated HR service provider is getting venture capital funds of $2 million within a fortnight, according to the company's managing director K Pandia Rajan. He said the company had already received venture capital funds of Rs 2.5 crore from MetDist Ltd of UK and Usha Martin Ventures of Calcutta. He said the company's 35 per cent of business was from IT services. The firm has around 900 blue chips companies as clients which include 49 Fortune 500 companies.``We are targeting to place around 50,000 candidates in the first year, Rajan said. The company had already placed 5,500 professionals in 15 countries across 10 industry segments, he said. Rajan said the company's HR portal -- mafoi.com -- would launch six additional channels vortals addressing various segments and requirements of job seeking.
The new channels would include flexicareer.com (a meeting place of employers and potential employees), traning horizon.com (meeting ground for job providers, seekers and trainers), compclubindia.com (which offers both companies and individuals a benchmark for compensation practices), carreerheights.com, psychoprofiling.com and freshcareer.com. The company was looking at a domestic IPO to raise Rs 40 crore. The float was expected to hit the market during October-November next year.
