KRBL launches Doon basmati rice
KRBL has launched its premium brand of basmati rice Doon. The MRP of Doon premium is Rs 51 per kg and Doon silky premium Rs 52 per kg. Doon is also available in bulk packs weighing 20 kg and 35 kg in jute bags. KRBL also exports to Saudi Arabia, Norway, US, Canada, South Africa, Caribbean and the Far East.Mera Number Aa Gaya
Even as its consumer promotion titled Mera Number Aayega has got mired in a court case in Chennai-making the scheme valid all over India except Tamil Nadu-Pepsi has announced the first winning number of the under-the-crown promotion.
The promotion, which was kicked off in the second week of June created a lot of consumer excitement. The promotion runs up to August 15, 2000, and announces a winner every fortnight-the next prize-winning number will be announced on July 9.
The prize-winning number is being announced in a television commercial (TVC) featuring MTV VJ Cyrus Broacha.
Swatch Flash Beat contest
Swatch has announced a worldwide contest-Flash Beat, the Internet time flash competition. Internet time, a concept formalised by Swatch Ltd, measures a 24-hour day in 1000 "beats", enabling users to watch the clock on a common platform. Swatch Beat, the cyber watch, displays both the "basis" as well aslocal time.
The competition invites graphic artists from across the world to create animation products for the Internet. The competition has two categories-the Long Flash Animation and the Short Flash Animation.
