Leather portal to be launched soon

Chennai, July 2: Chennai-based Esquisite Exports Limited will shortly launch its full-fledged leather portal -- leatherbureau.com - which will give general, technical and commercial information about the leather industry.The portal would be later expanded to do B2B and B2C businesses, the company's president, S Rajan, told a news conference here Saturday afternoon.To part finance this project and to enter into the medical transcription area, the company was coming out with an IPO (initial public offer) for Rs 1.59 crore. The issue would open on July 5 and close on July 11. The company's managing director, S Aravindan said, "Technical know-how for medical transcription would be provided by C-Bay Systems (India) Private Ltd, an affiliate of C-Bay Systems of Annapolis, USA.
