Naidu woos Coimbatore entrepreneurs

Coimbatore, July 2: With the roadmap for investments in IT through, Andhra Pradesh's CEO N Chandrababu Naidu is now wooing investments in other sectors. Naidu, who was in Coimbatore on Saturday along with the Andhra Pradesh industry minister and other senior officials, urged Coimbatore's industrialists to invest in textiles, engineering, tourism and agro-based industries. ``I am here to promote investments in my state. We will provide all infrastructure facilities required by you. We are ready to dicuss the plans on a case-to-case basis,'' he told a gathering of industrialists while making a presentation on the state's industrial scenario.Andhra Pradesh has placed textiles among the top seven growth engines identified in its Vision-2020 policy statement.
