The CIDC signed the MoU with the BMTPC on Wednesday to support and promote the PACS. The MoU was signed by CIDC director PR Swarup and BMTPC executive director TN Gupta. CIDC chairman GV Ramakrishna and Hudco chairman V Suresh were also present on the the occasion. The PACS is a third party operated voluntary scheme for providing performance appraisal certificates to a manufacturer, supplier, or seller of a building product. The product includes building materials, components, elements and systems after due process of assessment by a technical committee and board of experts drawn from various organisations.
