Mumbai, July 19: Canbank Mutual Fund on Wednesday declared dividends for Canganga and Cangilt (pension, gratuity and superannuation) schemes. It had earlier declared 12.5 per cent dividend in Canexpo.In Canganga, a balanced fund, investors will receive a maiden dividend of 10 per cent for which the record date is August 4. The scheme's NAV on July 14, 2000 was Rs 11.79.
The net assets of Canganga stood at Rs 57.15 crore on June 30, 2000 covering both equity and debt instruments. This scheme, launched in 1995, was restructured in 1998, resulting in "weeding out of non-performing stocks and infusion of growth stocks." Canbank MF has also declared an interim dividend of 2.5 per cent for the quarter ended June 30, 2000 in its Cangilt (PGS) scheme under the income plan.
