Jobkhoj enters Hyderabad, B'lore

Chennai: Jobkhoj.com started in November 1999 in Chennai is moving onto Bangalore and Hyderabad. A recruitment site on the Internet, it has found encouraging response in Chennai, prompting the promoters to take the next step - have a presence in the other southern states. According to Weave IT Consulting Services director, B Sreenaadha Reddy who runs the site, it has 23,000 registered users in its database.

Subscriber companies can view the pages throughout the year. The annual subscription ranges from Rs 1,950 to Rs 5,950 for unlimited database search and posting. The site is technically backed by WeaveIT US. It has standardised and easy to read CV (resume) template, e-mail notification on new jobs and new job seekers. Features like `Resumatch' send automatic e-mail whenever a match occurs.

The company has earned revenues of Rs 2.5 lakh since inception, having dealers, corporates and individuals signing on. For individuals it also offers value-added services called `Watchout' and `Hidden Talent' for a subscription of Rs 160 and Rs 300, respectively.
