Lack of adequate bandwidth availability is preventing Num TV from uplinking from India. Currently, the entertainment portal is uplinked from Singapore.

Cable glitches -- Zee tries to push 7-channel package, faces resistance
Zee Network is pushing a seven-channel package on cable television operators, even as Star TV continues to face stubborn resistance to a similar move. The Asiasat-3S satellite-based Zee is offering Zee Cinema, Movies, English and the four Alpha channels -- Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi.

Escotel Mobile Communications claimed on Wednesday that it had emerged as the fastest growing cellular company in India in the last three quarters: it registered a 26% growth in its subscriber base in the quarter ending June 2000.
