Mumbai: Globsyn Technologies Ltd has decided to invest Rs 30 crore over the next two years to set up 100 KnowledgePubs in India. The proposed KnowledgePubs will offer all three modes of infotech and professional skills instruction under one roof. These three modes include instructor-led training (ILT), computer-based training (CBT) and web-based training (WBT). Initially, the Calcutta-based company will set up 15 such centres in Mumbai and 12 centres in New Delhi. The company is currently working out strategies to raise funds for the purpose."These education centres will offer globally benchmarked infotech courses including certified programmes on major software platforms and courses on business and professional skills," Globsyn Technologies chairman and chief executive officer Bikram Dasgupta told reporters. Each KnowledgePub would house three laboratories including CBT and WBT labs in addition to the ILT areas and reference library. Globsyn will appoint enterprise partners for each location.
Globsyn is planning to achieve a net profit of Rs 8.8 crore on a turnover of Rs 38.75 crore during the current fiscal.
