Trigyn Tech nets Rs 1.5 crore
Trigyn Technologies Limited on Wednesday announced combined first quarter sales of Rs 38.14 crore, gross profit of Rs 17.29 crore and net income of Rs 1.5 crore. The company, formerly known as Leading Edge Systems Limited, was renamed Trigyn Technologies Limited subsequent to its acquisition of eCapital Solutions, a holding company with subsdiaries in the US, UK, Germany and India.

Thirdware Solution & Sify, Citrix join for ASP foray
Thirdware Solution Ltd has forged an alliance with Satyam Infoway and Citrix Software India to foray into the Application Service Providers (ASP) market. The Mumbai-based Thirdware will deploy the ERP, MFG/PRO solutions and make it available through the ASP route. The applications will cater to areas like sales, finance, distribution and a host of business-to-business (B2B) solutions.

Geojit Securities reduces Net trading rates
Geojit Securities Ltd, has reduced its rates for Net trading. The broking outfit will now charge 0.075 per cent for transactions which do not end in delivery and for transactions that end up in delivery the brokerage will be 0.50 per cent. For NRI's these rate will be 0.1 per cent and 0.75 per cent respectively.

Tariq Farooqui the new regional director, SAP India
SAP India has announced the appointment of Tariq Farooqui as the director - emerging sector and regional director, north and east region. In his new position, Tariq will primarily be responsible for all business emanating from the emerging market in India and for providing leadership to the entire SAP ecosystem of partners, analysts and customers in the north and east. Prior to taking on the new assignment, Tariq was head-strategic business, SAP India.
