Tariff realignment may force DTS to take a Rs 3,000-crore hit
The tariff rebalancing for the current financial year may end up costing the Department of Telecom Services, now Department of Telecom Operations (DTO) nearly Rs 3,000 crore. This was stated by the Union Communications Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, in reply to a Rajya Sabha question raised on August 1.
