New Friendship Day range from Vintage Cards
Vintage Cards & Creations Ltd has introduced 140 new greeting card designs for Friendship Day on August 6. A card for every friendship, the range boasts of tapping all kinds of relationships, right from the serious and mellow to the young and hip. Sony India and advertising and marketing vortal brandquiver.com are conducting a five-day online research promotion for Sony's digital camera Mavica. The aim, says T Itagaki, general manager, marketing, is to reach the consumers directly, showcase our range and get feedback that would help in improvisations. The research module is interactive, including a simple dice game and a contest that offers a Sony Mavica to the winner. The Mavica range has five models in the Rs 40,000-80,000 range and is the only digital camera with a floppy disc and memory stick as storage device.

Funskool has brought Furby the bug eyed ball of plastic to India. The toy, with its own language of 200 "Furbish" and English words and sounds with 800 different phrase combinations, interacts with the environment through sight, touch, hearing and physical orientation. Each Furby is unique and equipped with a singular personality and name and can be trained to dance, sing and perform other tricks.
