ZED TV to go on air by month end
Zee Interactive Learning Systems Ltd (ZILS), wholly owned subsidiary of Zee Telefilms, will launch the country's first 24-hour learning channel ZED TV by the end of August. Uma Ganesh, CEO and president of ZILS, told a press conference on Tuesday that the channel was aimed at blending learning with entertainment and latest information.
Siemens arm joins hands with Tektronix
Siemens' information and communication mobile, a division of Siemens Ag, has joined hands with Tektronix, a leader in developing test, measurement and monitoring equipment to develop a customised core network test and simulation solutions for UTMS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication Systems) based networks. Siemens will use tektronix' K1297 protocol tester to verify the correct operation of components, enabling faster system integration with UTMS networks, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Maxima plans marketing tie-up with Jade Link
Maxima Systems is planning a marketing tie-up with Jade Link 2000 of the US. The Gujarat-based company plans to recruit 50 software professionals to cater to the markets of US and Europe. Maxima will launch Internet and Web-based businesses including B2B and B2C initiatives.
The company also plans to enter the medical transcription business with 150 medical transcriptionists.
mCommunicator in alliance with Indian Websites
mCommunicator, an instant messaging service provider, has tied up with more than 12 Indian Websites to provide instant messenger service. With the mCommunicator bar, the portals will have presence on the user's desktop. The bar is customised for every partner and the portals will use the service for offering different kind of value-added services including instant alerts, breaking news, stock quotes etc.
