"SSI measures customer satisfaction with vehicle sales and delivery process, while the CFS study evaluates the new car buyer's satisfaction with the entire finance process," JD Power Asia Pacific director Chris Bonsi said.SSI study took six factors (in order of importance) - sales experience, explanation at delivery, price evaluation, delivery timing, salesperson knowledge and post-delivery contact, into consideration, he said.Honda Siel and HM-Mitsubishi ranked highest in the sales experience factor also, apart from sharing the top slot for overall satisfaction in the SSI study, he said adding, however, in price evaluation, they fell below the industry average.

Loan contract and value, finance advisor, application process and billing were the factors studied in CFS survey, Bonsi said.
