Three international airlines signs up for Marriot scheme

New Delhi, Aug 8: Emirates, Srilankan and Mexican airlines have entered into Miles Rewards programme designed by Marriot Hotels International.Marriot Rewards, introduced by the group for its guests who frequent the chain of hotels world wide can now earn miles instead of points designed by several other chains. Under the programme, the Marriot rewards members will be able to collect three miles per US dollar spent on qualifying charges at the full service hotels of the group, a press release issued by the group said here on Tuesday.

One mile per US dollar based on room rate will be credited to the members account at the limited service hotels of the group.Besides this, the travellers who enroll in Rewards programme and designate Emirates or Srilankan as their preferred airline partners will earn 500 bonus miles as one time enrollment bonus which will consequently be awarded to the members account at the end of the promotional campaign ending September 30 this year, the release added.
