Raids on cricketers net Rs 3.75 crore

New Delhi, Aug 8: Income-Tax authorities have seized assets worth Rs 3.75 crore during the 90 raids conducted in the face of cricket match-fixing scandal, minister of state for revenue Dhananjay Kumar informed the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday Inquiry was sill on and as many as 25 lockers sealed after raids were yet to be opened, Kumar said in replies to supplementaries.There were heated exchanges as opposition members accused NDA ally,Samata Party president Jaya Jaitley of trying to stall the raids carried out in her house in connection with investigation on cricketer Ajay Jadeja.
