Xenon begins India operations

Our eFE Bureau
Xenon, a New Jersey, USA-based full-service engineering and software consulting company on Thursday announced the commencement of its India operations in Calcutta. "We are quite optimistic about our Indian operations and besides being involved in back-end activities, we also have plans to get into software and training services shortly," Xenon's chief executive officer Mr Kumaresh Sen said. Xenon would like to enter the niche market of corporate training, which has an immense possibility worldwide. "In the US, Germany and India, every where we want to emerge as a major player in corporate training," Mr Sen added. The company has chosen Calcutta primarily for the quality manpower available here, he said and added, "since I hail from the city, Calcutta became an automatic choice for the centre of India operations." In future, there could be other branches all over India but Calcutta would definitely continue to be the headquarters, he said.
