Jet to introduce third Mumbai-Pune flight
Jet Airways is to introduce a third flight from Mumbai to Pune with its ATR-72 aircraft from Saturday. The flight will depart from Mumbai at 12.45 pm, reach Pune at 1.30 pm, depart at 2.30 pm and arrive here at 3.15 pm, a Jet release said in Mumbai on Thursday adding that the other two flights are being operated by Boeing 737 aircraft.UnitedAir appoints new GM-India

Lufthansa unveils new air schedule
Lufthansa has unveiled its time table for winter flights for 2000-2001. The airline has increased the number of weekly connections to 15 Asian destinations listed in the Lufthansa timetable from 87 to 89.
Ciba Vision launches new drug
Ciba Vision, the eye care sector of Novartis India, has launched Nyolol - eye drops for the treatment of glaucoma. Nyolol is the first drug in India from Ciba Vision's basket of anti-glaucoma agents.
HCC net surges 131 per cent
Hindustan Construction Company has registered a 131 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 21.40 crore for the year ended June 30 2000, as compared to Rs 9.25 crore last year. Turnover dropped by 15 per cent to Rs 530.77 crore as against Rs 625.40 crore in the previous fiscal.
Ispat director gets recognition
Ispat Industries director MP Sinha has been selected as man of the year - 2000 by the American Biographical Institute, USA. The citation has been conferred on him based on the outstanding accomplishments to date and the noble example he has set for his peers and entire community.
