RazorFinish.com embarks on expansion spree
RazorFinish.com, a reverse auction site, has expanded its presence during the last four months. It is now present in 14 cities, with over 300 member hotels. In keeping with the expansion plans, the first international base was founded in Nepal last month, with the entire Pan Asia Pacific region following soon. By the end of next month, the presence base would have expanded to 20 cities with over 350 member hotels.

Govt in need of IT professionals by 2005: Mahajan
The government has set up a task force to achieve a target of creating five lakh Indian IT professionals across the globe by the year 2005, according to Union Minister for IT Mr Pramod Mahajan. The task force, headed by human resource development minister Dr Murli Manohar Joshi will look into the centre's plan to take over all Regional Engineering Colleges and give them a status at par with the IITs

ITIL-Information Technologies (India) Limited on Tuesday launched a portal hub - indiai2I.com-and announced plans to launch an IPO and go for Nasdaq listing in two years. The core business of the portal would be creation of related subject and transaction-oriented dotcom.

HDFC launches realty portal for NRIs
Housing loan finance company HDFC Limited targeting the NRIs, on Tuesday launched a portal `HDFC Reality.com' to provide information on real estate properties in and around Bangalore city. Company executive director Mr R V S Rao said the portal will provide solutions on property to individuals etc.
