ICICI keeps its date with Delhi
ICICI Ltd has launched Cafedilli.com-a Delhi-centric portal-with a host of promotions and roadshows. Spread over the next two weekends, the promotions include `Cafe Dilli on wheels', a `Dream Date' contest, with a dinner date with a `Miss India' finalist for the winner and online contests with mugs, T-shirts and caps as prizes. Surfers can book movie and travel tickets, avail of discounts in best buys, download govt forms, browse for matrimonials and jobs, send flowers to 36 cities around the country and keep abreast of city happenings. It will also set up interactive kiosks in select parts of the city besides tying up with 10 cyber cafes to enable consumers to surf the site for free.

E-Citi in strategic tie-up with Imax
E-Citi Entertainment (I) Pvt Ltd. has inked an exclusive strategic alliance with Imax Corporation to bring the world's most immersive movie experience to India. Imax theatres provide the world's most immersive movie experience and allow audiences to feel part of the onscreen entertainment. Images enhanced by a state-of-the-art sound system are projected onto giant screens up to eight stories high. Imax's 15/70 film format is ten times larger than a conventional 35mm film.

Citrix brings usage-based licensing model
Citrix Software India has announced an aggressive programme to support and accelerate the growth of the application hosting market in India. The innovative "pay-as-you-go" software licensing model from Citrix targets Application Service Providers (ASPs) that run hosted application facilities and deliver application services to a host of customers. The pay-as-you-use software licensing programme enables ASPs to install a full suite of Citrix software across servers without having to incur any upfront licensing fee.
